Sicuritalia, market leader in the private security sector in Italy, has completed its acquisition of the MAAT Group, which primarily specialises in security for retail, logistics, and events. With a consolidated turnover of 35 million euros, the MAAT Group has 900 employees and offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.
Sicuritalia has experienced strong growth in the Italian market in recent years, both on its own and through acquisitions. The integration of MAAT Security is the first real step, after opening offices in Switzerland, towards the internationalization of Sicuritalia. With this acquisition, Sicuritalia positions itself as the second largest player in the European private security sector.
